At Cornell there has been a recent increase in the number of women enrolling in the University’s engineering article. In just five years, the percentage of undergraduate women in the college has risen from 19 percent to more than 25 percent. Engineering schools in the United States average 20 percent women undergraduates.
At the Engineering Faculty at Rome University La Sapienza 27% of first year incoming students are women.
